Halo 3: ODST – A Must Have Xbox Game

Halo 3: ODST is the newest game in the popular Halo series. Exclusively for the Xbox 360, it was released in September 2009, approximately 2 years after the release of Halo 3. Upon its release, the game quickly became the top-selling game for the Xbox 360 worldwide.

Originally, the game was developed as a small side project to give fans something new in between the release of Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. For this reason, instead of focusing on the characters that are familiar from the earlier Halo games, this game centers around the ODSTs, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.

In the game, players take on the personas of these Orbital Drop Shock Troopers who are top human United Nations Space Command soldiers. Their job is to find out what happened to their missing comrades in the city of New Mombasa. The teammates have been separated from each other upon entering the city after a group of aliens attacked Earth, wreaking havoc and chaos.

As the game was in development, it evolved from a mini-game into a full-fledged full-length game. But, because it is played from the perspective of a different character than the other Halo games, it has a different and unique feel to it. It has elements of film noir with a jazz-inspired musical background theme. Despite, or perhaps due to, the deviations from the other Halo games, Halo 3: ODST has proven tremendously popular and has received mostly positive reviews.

At the start of the game, the player assumes the role of a soldier called “Rookie.” Rookie is tasked with finding his missing teammates and searches for clues. As clues are found and answers are revealed, the player then assumes the role of the missing soldier. The player has a lot of choice in terms of where to go and what to do, so the game is experienced differently for each player.

As missions are accomplished, additional characters are unlocked and players are able to choose which character they would like to be. Players also win medals for jobs well done and can track their score over time.

The game itself has a complicated story behind it that follows chronologically from the other games in the Halo series. In Halo 2, a group of alien races called the Covenant discovered the location of Earth and attacked the city of New Mombasa. While most of the attackers were repelled, one ship managed to land and then retreated, causing a shockwave that destroyed part of New Mombasa. Halo 3: ODST takes place in the aftermath of the shockwave while the Covenant is occupying the city.

The game begins as 4 ODSTs are planning an assault on the Covenant`s ship outside New Mombasa. A series of events occur, causing the ODSTs to crash and be separated. As Rookie, game players need to explore the city and sort through clues to find the missing ODSTs. The game is completed when everyone has been found safe and sound.

In addition to the exciting gameplay, there are some neat sound and special effects built into the game. Clearly the developers had fun putting it all together and the results are great.

I Believe the console is exactly the same but Red, not other differences to the Usual Models.

I Have Resident evil 5 on my Ps3, its a very good games, very similar to Resi 4 but with alot better Graphics, its also a pretty long game, getting you around 12 hours out of it.

get blazing angels 1 and 2 or ace combat, those r the only good games for 360 that are flight based. to find poker games go to xbox live market place and look for em, probly around 800 m points(10 bucks).

In the Xbox Arcade game Braid you play as this saddened but ever true hero Tim. In this primarily puzzle action game there are many puzzles that are just as hard to implement as they are to solve.

Most of these games don’t have cheat codes because as soon as you figure out how the puzzle works a new puzzle forms in how you plan to execute getting through it. But there are things you can do to see more of the story.

Unlock World 1 and the Epilogue

In the house in the beginning of the game where the level select area is, there is a broken ladder that leads to the attic. This needs be fixed. To repair this ladder, you must find all 60 puzzle pieces that await you in each level, and assemble each world’s jigsaw puzzle in the puzzle mini-game. Once this is done, the ladder will be restored. Now you can climb up. When you go through the door to you will be in World 1. Beat World 1, and you will be taken directly to the Epilogue. You can now return to at any time after its finished by walking left from the title screen, into an off-screen alcove.

Unlock Final Star and secret ending

Throughout the game, there are 7 secret stars. If you collect them all, the 8th and final star will appear in the last level; when this happens, some of the switches in the level will become immune to time manipulation, allowing you to reach the star as well as changing the outcome of the chase.

Hidden Texts in Epilogue

Aside from the last, each room in the Epilogue has at least one object that you can stand behind. If you have the red book on that screen open and the text of it is displayed in the air, standing behind these objects in the proper location will cause a sound to play and the text to change, revealing more information. If you open a green book, the red book will close and the text will disappear, so you will need to use time manipulation to see all 4 of these secret writings.

It’s not very good, kind of spotty obvious editing, could be done much smoother if you spend more time on it. I would keep working on that, you could probably improve your work and get better ratings.

Yeah go for it! You need a harddrive to play on xbox live. The reason being is that xbox live had to save information like your profile and games also have to save information on your xbox, like any downloaded content, such as maps and weapons and such. The Pro console which is the best value for your money is 350 dollars I think, and comes with a harddrive included, as well as an hdmi port so you can get the best audio/video experience when hooking up to an Hdtv. It may also come with one game I am not sure.

DVD drive failure, only covered by the 1 year warranty. You can try cleaning it out with a can of compressed air, it may help a little bit.
Eventually you will need to call xbox support and schedule a repair. If you are no longer covered by the 1 year warranty this may cost $100-$140 to have fixed. BUT when you pay to have it fixed, the 1 year and 3 year warranties start over from the day it leaves the repair center.
